Kinguin Launches Education Programs, Hires VP of Education Company reinforces commitment to making Esports educational
Jacek (Jack) Słoczyński joins Kinguin as Vice President of Education, denoting the company’s push into the field of education and training. In this role, Jack will be responsible for developing and guiding Kinguin’s educational programs and efforts.
“Jack brings years of direct experience in developing innovative curricula to help people learn,” said Kinguin CEO, Viktor Romaniuk Wanli. “He was the clear choice to develop and guide our new Education program.”
Initially, Kinguin education programs will include school outreach to improve student access to computer programs, such as school visits to the Esports Performance Center, understanding and working with computer hardware, and learning through gaming. Kinguin will also focus on educational efforts to improve esports performance for serious gamers and professionals with programs such as English lessons for Polish esports players, player development courses, plus personal and interpersonal development for individuals and teams in esports.
Jack will be leading the Kinguin Spark program, which consists of programming and design courses, plus courses in communication, collaboration, and competition. The Spark program will also teach e-safety and how to live in harmony with technology. This innovative educational program will be constantly up to date on the latest developments in technology and gamification, and use examples from esports to make learning relevant to students.
Jack comes to Kinguin after six years with The British School of Warsaw, where he taught computer science and Keystage 2 students (aged 7 to 12). Born in London, Jack grew up traveling with his parents, living in Hong Kong, Taiwan, England, and Poland, among others. He found his passion for gaming and designing 3d architecture as a teenager, playing with friends from around the world. He is licensed to teach English as a Second Language.
